Jesus' Last Words - which were not Final!

Jesus’ final utterances (but which were not final!)
Women of Jerusalem, don't cry for me! Cry for yourselves and for your children. Someday people will say, “Women who never had children are really fortunate!” At that time everyone will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” They will say to the hills, “Hide us!” If this can happen when the wood is green, what do you think will happen when it is dry?[a]  (Luke 23:28-31 CEV)

From the execution cross

Woman, here is your son.”
“Here is your mother
.” (John 19:26-27 CSB)

Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43 ESV)

ELOI, ELOI, LEMA SABAKTANEI? (Mark 15:34 NASB20)

Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”[a] (Luke 23:46 NIV)

It is finished!” (John 19:30 NLT)

The NASB20 translation given in the text of Mark 15:34 is
MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?

After the tomb

Greetings!” (Matthew 28:9 CSB)

Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” (John 20:15 NRSVUE)

Mary!” (John 20:16 CEV)

Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” (John 20:17 ESV)

You foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! “Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to come into His glory?”Luke 24:25-26 (NASB20)

Peace be with you!” (John 20:19 NIV)

Why are you frightened? Why are your hearts filled with doubt? Look at my hands. Look at my feet. You can see that it’s really me. Touch me and make sure that I am not a ghost, because ghosts don’t have bodies, as you see that I do.” Luke 24:38-39 NLT)

Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
“Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” (John 20:21-23 NRSVUE)

Friends, haven’t you any fish?”
Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” (John 21:5-6 NIV)

Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught,”
“Now come and have some breakfast
!” (John 21:10-12 NLT)

Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Feed my lambs.”
“Simon, son of John, do you love me?” “Tend my sheep.”
“Simon, son of John, do you love me?” “Feed my sheep
(John 21:15-17 ESV).

If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me” (John 21:22 NLT).

Addendum
There are recorded words of Jesus over the following days in various settings. Luke also tells us, in summary, that:
After he had suffered, he also presented himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God (Acts 1:3 CSB).

You don't need to know the time of those events that only the Father controls. But the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you power. Then you will tell everyone about me in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world” (Acts 1:7-8 CEV).

Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” (Acts 9:4 ESV)

I am Jesus whom you are persecuting, but get up and enter the city, and it will be told to you what you must do.” (Acts 9:5-6 NASB20)

Ananias.”
“Get up and go to the street called Straight, to the house of Judas, and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, since he is praying there. In a vision[a] he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and placing his hands on him so that he may regain his sight.”
“Go, for this man is my chosen instrument to take my name to Gentiles, kings, and Israelites. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name”
(Acts 9:10-16 CSB, connecting text edited out by me).

May you be blessed by God
